Welcome to Chinese New Year Scran School!
Dish: Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup & Spring Rolls
Date: Saturday 6th February
Time: 10am-12pm & 2-4pm
Where: Workshops take place in our home kitchen in Thornton, Lancashire – full address provided after booking.
What they’ll make and skills: Children will cook a comforting Chinese New Year inspired chicken and sweetcorn soup, learning how to prepare ingredients, safely use heat, and create a smooth, flavourful broth. They’ll also make crispy spring rolls from scratch, practising chopping, seasoning, and rolling techniques before baking them to golden perfection.
Suitable for ages 4–16 years
(children must have started school)
Ages 4–7: parent/guardian must stay
Ages 8+: drop-off allowed (don’t forget to pick them up!)
Please confirm who will be attending when booking.
Arrive 5 minutes before the class starts.
Aprons are provided – but things might get messy!
