Welcome to Chinese New Year Scran School!

Dish: Popcorn Chicken, Slaw & Corn on the Cob

Where: Workshops take place in our home kitchen in Thornton, Lancashire – full address provided after booking.

What they’ll make and skills:

Children will take part in a fun Fakeaway Favourites class, making crispy popcorn chicken from scratch. They’ll safely prepare and cook the chicken before seasoning it to create tasty, takeaway style flavours.

Alongside this, they’ll make a fresh, crunchy slaw and prepare sweetcorn on the cob, learning simple skills to build a balanced, budget-friendly meal.

Suitable for ages 4–16 years
(children must have started school)

Ages 4–7: parent/guardian must stay

Ages 8+: drop-off allowed (don’t forget to pick them up!)
Please confirm who will be attending when booking.

Arrive 5 minutes before the class starts.

Aprons are provided – but things might get messy!
