Dish: Cheese & Onion Pie
Date: Saturday 3rd October
Time: 2-4pm
Where: Workshops take place in our home kitchen in Thornton, Lancashire – full address provided after booking.
What they’ll make and skills: Children will celebrate British Food Fortnight by preparing a classic fish pie, safely making a creamy fish filling and topping it with smooth mashed potato before baking it until golden and bubbling. They’ll also explore traditional flavours and ingredients, adding their own finishing touches before enjoying their hearty, home-style British dish.
Suitable for ages 4–16 years
(children must have started school)
Ages 4–7: parent/guardian must stay
Ages 8+: drop-off allowed (don’t forget to pick them up!)
Please confirm who will be attending when booking.
Arrive 5 minutes before the class starts.
Aprons are provided – but things might get messy!
